A Pause in the Rush. Dou was created to bring intention into everyday dining. In fast-moving cities, we create spaces and experiences that allow people to slow down without disconnecting from their surroundings. The name “Dou” comes from dough, one of the most fundamental elements in food and a foundation found across cuisines around the world. It is also the foundation of our bakehouse and culinary philosophy. The name also reflects duality, bringing brewing and baking together in equal measure while evoking connection, conversation and shared experiences.

At the heart of Dou is a deep appreciation for global food culture. From our signature ‘Eggs Around the World’ selection to internationally inspired dishes, artisanal breads and carefully crafted coffees, the menu draws from diverse culinary traditions while remaining approachable and relevant to contemporary urban dining. Global perspectives, thoughtful craftsmanship and a spirit of exploration shape everything we do. Through our bakehouse, kitchen and brew bar, we reinterpret flavours and techniques from around the world while staying grounded in quality, balance and process.
